Speaker Bureau Program Director

We are currently looking to add a Speaker Bureau Program Director to our Speaker Bureau team. This candidate will be responsible for managing the execution of speaker bureau training meetings, and serve as an expert on company and client requirements and processes. Additionally, this candidate will manage and maintain workflow efficiently in a fast-paced environment ensuring each step in the process and information flows to everyone who is part of the project team.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing detailed timelines
  • Understanding and managing project budget
  • Overseeing speaker contracting and Audience Accumulation, ensuring completion of all tasks and accurate execution of documentation
  • Guiding development of forms, standard emails, and miscellaneous pieces ensuring they are created/updated as needed, and identifying changes needed to existing meeting documents or new documents that need to be created
  • Conducting external and client status meetings, ensuring action items are completed as required
  • Collaborating with meeting planning staff, who are solely responsible for logistics related to speaker training meetings and peer-to-peer dinner meetings. This position not include logistics
  • Managing content and slide presentation development, including acting as faculty and client liaison and overseeing in-house trafficking and management

The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills with a background in speaker bureau management. In addition, we are looking for someone who is a self-starter with keen communication skills and can work collaboratively. Success in this position requires the ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail. In addition, the candidate will need to be proficient in Microsoft® Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Access is a plus.
