Program Director

Health and Wellness Partners is currently looking for a Program Director who will be responsible for planning, managing, and tracking assigned programs to ensure all required tasks are executed within the established program timeline, including achievement of timeline milestones, monitoring program budgets, and managing ongoing communication to the client and the program team so that all parties understand the status of the workflow and actions required at all times.

Specific responsibilities include: 

  • Having a full understanding of the program scope as well as developing and managing detailed timelines
  • Understanding and monitoring program budgets and identifying variances and need for scope changes
  • Leading program kick-off meetings, internal meetings, and client status meetings
  • Overseeing the preparation of status meeting agendas (as needed) plus post-meeting notes to assure action items, responsible individuals, and deadlines are clearly indicated
  • Managing content and slide presentation development (including faculty and client liaison) and in-house trafficking and management
  • Coordinating medical-legal regulatory review process and attending as necessary
  • Collaborating with all team members to ensure full understanding of the program scope, deliverables, and due dates
  • Supervising assigned program management resources and assigning tasks with clear deadlines
  • Consistently demonstrating the core ideals that form the foundation of how HWP performs work, conducts themselves, and provides effective and inspiring leadership
  • Traveling as required

The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills with 5+ years’ experience within a medical communications or medical advertising agency. In addition, we are looking for someone who is a keen problem solver, able to maintain calm under pressure, and work independently to demonstrate initiative.

Other requirements include:

  • Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmaceutical products
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft® Office Suite
