Help Desk Technician

At this time we are looking to add a Help Desk Technician to our Technology team. This position is based in our Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, office and will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to computer systems, hardware, and software using remote tools and diagnostic utilities or hands-on fixes when remote tools are not appropriate. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Providing first contact support of incoming requests to the Help Desk
  • Prioritizing incident and service requests to meet departmental-defined service level agreements
  • Troubleshooting and resolving or escalating Windows® and Microsoft® Office issues and other standard company software applications (Zoom, Adobe® Suite, web browsers)
  • Troubleshooting and resolving or escalating VoIP phone issues

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of related experience or equivalent, including desktop Windows 10 and Mac OS® operating systems and Windows Server® 2016 and higher server operating systems. You will also need to be familiar with hardware level changes to desktop and laptop computers and a level of comfort with remote monitoring and management. Good communication, planning, and organizing skills will contribute to your success, along with the ability to work independently.
