Financial Coordinator

Health and Wellness Partners is currently looking to add a Financial Coordinator to our team supporting our Peer-to-Peer programs. This position will serve as the liaison between meeting planning and finance teams to assure the accuracy and compliance of program expenses and assure timeliness and accuracy of program close-out. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the meeting planning team and serving as the go-between with final close-out of Peer-to-Peer programs by following up for missing information or documentation, completing required data entry, and resolving any pending issues preventing close-out
  • Ensuring all submissions (expense reports and receipts) comply with client, state, and federal requirements while troubleshooting and resolving any discrepancies
  • Completing program expense breakdown tabs
  • Preparing data for aggregate spend reporting for each client, including learning each client’s reporting system, forms, and communication requirements
  • Managing the final reconciliation of projects to assure timely and accurate completion
  • Monitoring the workflow of the review process, assuring timely completion, and generating weekly status reports
The ideal candidate will have an aptitude for working with numbers, be detail-oriented, and have superb follow-up skills. Other requirements include proficiency in QuickBooks®; Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and Outlook; and an excellent telephone demeanor.
